The Hummingbirds present 1930s and 1940s nostalgia with close harmony vocals, Andrews Sisters Style. Cathy Edkins, Jenny Ewington and Jill Luff are all trained singers and met through the ‘Cappella Singers’ (a classical choir). The Hummingbirds began in 2000 and since then have performed at a number of venues both main billing and as guest artists including The Brentwood Theatre, The Squadron (North Weald), Stapleford Airfield, The Royal Star and Garter, The University of East London, Quay Theatre Sudbury, Spikes Place Jazz Club and The Royal Gunpowder Mills.
